The strategic way to showcase the work on Instagram

Pinning a post on varied social media is a great way to ensure that the user has most important content remains visible to the audience. When the user pins a post, it stays at the top of the profile page, making it more likely that the followers will see it. How to pin a post on Instagram make it easier to use social media in a much more effective way.

How to pin a post:

Open the app on the mobile device and navigate to the profile page.

Find the post that needs to be pinned and tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the post.

Tap “Pin to Profile” from the dropdown menu that appears.


The user can see a pop-up window with a message that says “Pin This Post?” Tap “Pin” to confirm. The pinned post will now appear at the top of the profile page. The user can tell it’s pinned because it will have a small icon that looks like a thumbtack in the upper right-hand corner.

Note that the user can only pin their posts, and the user can only have one pinned post at a time. Also, if they delete the post that has been pinned, they will automatically be unpinned from the profile.

It’s important to choose the right post to pin, as it will be the first thing that visitors to the profile page see. Consider which post is most important or relevant to the current goals or promotions. If the user is using it for business, they might want to pin a post that promotes a new product, a special offer, or an event that the user is hosting.

This is a great way to highlight positive feedback or important information that the user want theri followers to see. To pin a comment, simply swipe left on the comment and tap the pin icon that appears. The user can unpin a comment by swiping left again and tapping the pin icon again to turn it off.
